Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson Are Expecting Baby No. 2 Via Surrogacy

OMFG. WHAT. JUST. HAPPENED.  

As per TMZ sources, Koko is all set to welcome another baby with her ex, first—and now, second-time—baby daddy Tristan Thompson, via a surrogate. Multiple insiders have revealed that the birth of the child is imminent, or perhaps, the baby may have already been born in the last day or so. "We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family," a representative for Kardashian told PEOPLE on Wednesday.

The 38-year-old and the NBA player already share a child—4-year-old daughter True—and seemed to have finally found their footing in the tumultuous world of co-parenting. While the two are gearing up to be a family of sorts, again, they last left off broken up after Tristan's public paternity scandal with Maralee Nichols. The latter gave birth to their son, Theo, last December. However, reports suggest that the basketball star hasn't met his son as yet, nor has he initiated any meetings.

At the time, Tristan had issued a public apology to Khlo and wrote, "Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son."

"Khloé and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December, outside of co-parenting matters," a PEOPLE source added. Thompson is also dad to son Prince, 5, with ex Jordan Craig. The news of their surrogacy has sent the internet into a *major* frenzy, giving way to a hue and cry among Khloé fans. "Are you freakin' kidding me?" wrote an Instagram user on Koko's birthday trip post with True and Dream. Another said, "Girl I can't keep defending you." Khlo supporters are PISSED OFF—and perhaps, for good reason.
