I am a tall guy dating a short girl—here are moments that make the height diff adorbs AF!

They say opposites attract and I have realised it is, to quite an extent, true for me—not just for the demeanour and personality but also for physical attributes. I’m a tall, lanky person who stands out from the crowd (literally!). I’m 6’1”, and according to the National Institute of Nutrition, way above the average height—5’8” (177 cm) for men and 5’3” (162 cm) for women. I’ve dated three girls in my life, each way shorter than me. The height difference was adorable, to say the least. Now I am not saying couples with lesser height difference aren't killin' it. But while many people wonder if too much of a height difference may be an issue, I for one, have found it to be super cute.

You make a great team for household chores

Reaching for items at grocery stores, working your way around the house—whether it is fixing a bulb or finding something under the table, you two can work as a pair and efficiently knock things off your task lists. And just like that, doing simple chores becomes a team activity and gives you a chance to spend time with each other. 

Tippy-toe kisses and hugs galore

I’m an old-school romantic and nothing makes me happier than kissing my cute, short girlfriend on the forehead. It’s adorable to see her balance herself on her tippy toes while I bend down, wrap my arms around her, and kiss her forehead. The smile on her face lights us both up. Also, when she rests her head on my shoulder when we’re travelling or watching a movie together, it feels blissful.  

The cuddles are snuggly

Having your short partner snuggle into your arms and watching them rest their head on your chest and feel your heartbeat, is a precious moment every tall-short couple enjoys. How I wish time just stopped for the two of us! No matter how hectic your day was, everything seems alright after this beautiful moment you share. Watching the shorter person being the bigger spoon is the cutest thing your partner can do. 

The sex is rocking as well

This is where you turn your imagination into reality and experiment with a host of difficult, adventurous sex positions. Nothing is off-limits, you just got to try it. The difference in heights really adds to the power play in rough sex, which some couples really enjoy.
