Here’s what your face shape says about your personality type

It’s no secret that people love personality tests and learning more about their traits, Even if it means taking a test that they came across randomly while doom-scrolling at 4:00 am. This is why it is only natural that we’re curious to know if our face shape has any power over our personality. In fact, a study, published in Science Daily, has found that because face shapes are determined by genes, there is a solid chance that it impacts our personality.

To further fuel your intrigue, we identified the most common face types and listed down what they say about your personality. You might just learn something new about yourself!

Rectangular

Take a good hard look in the mirror. If your face is squared off at the forehead and at the chin, you have a rectangular face. People with this face type are usually practical and organised. They value logic but sometimes live in their head too much and spiral into depths of overthinking.

Heart-shaped

This kind of face shape has a wide forehead and a tapered chin. These people tend to be creative and affectionate. However, they also have incredible inner strength and can be quite headstrong and stubborn. If they have a goal in mind, they go for it with all their might.

Round

Wide hairline, full cheeks, and not a very long face—these are the features of a round face type. If this applies to you, then it probably means that you are kind and generous. Sometimes, too much for your own good.

Diamond

A diamond-faced shape is wide in the middle and pointier towards the forehead and chin. People with a diamond-shaped face tend to be more detail-oriented and like to be in control. They have a way with words and are good communicators. However, if you cross them, they aren’t afraid to rip you a new one.

Oval

This kind of face shape is longer in the bottom half than the top, and is often charcterised by a wide forehead and a narrow jawline. People with an oval face shape are perceived to be more extroverted and friendly. While they might be social butterflies, they are still warm.
