“Eyes are the window into the soul” is a very corny saying that we’ve heard numerous times in sappy Bollywood movies. And we’ve all scrunched up our eyebrows and wondered who would use this as a pick-up line. However, allow us to be the bearer of weird news— there might just be some truth to it. Obviously, not in the literal sense or in the romantic sense, but our eyes do speak volumes—well their shape and size do. You see, each eye shape indicates specific personality traits. Read on to know what your eyes have been divulging about your personality. 

Almond eyes  

This eye shape has a small eyelid and is longer in width than they are round. They taper to a point towards the outer and inner corners of the eyes to look just like an almond! People with this eye shape are extremely attentive, cautious and detail-oriented. They are also disciplined and are able to keep their head on their shoulders in tense, anxiety-inducing situations. While people with almond-shaped eyes aren’t expressive when it comes to their emotions and feelings, they are warm and welcoming. 

Round eyes 

Round eyes are usually large with extremely curved upper and lower lids that look almost circular. People with this eye shape are creative, emotional, free-flowing and dramatic. They aren’t afraid to speak their mind or draw attention to themselves. However, they can be quite impulsive and get carried away easily. But they do possess a certain charm that endears people very easily. 

Hooded eyes 

If you can’t see your eyeliner when your eyes are open, you probably have hooded eyes. It’s when the crease of your eye folds over your upper eyelid and makes it look smaller. People with hooded eyes are cheerful, open-minded and calm. They are known to be extremely helpful but they will never ask anyone for help. They wear their hearts on their sleeve but find it difficult to stand up for themselves. 

Wide-set eyes  

The shape of your eyes isn’t the only thing that reflects your personality traits. The distance between them is also an indicator. Allow us to explain. Close-set eyes
