Maestro, a biographical drama directed by Bradley Cooper, is about the legendary composer Leonard Bernstein. The movie has been nominated for Best Picture of the year and stars Cooper as Leonard Bernstein with Carey Mulligan playing his wife, Felicia. The film promises some captivating performances along with stunning visuals deep diving into the world of music. The Boy and the Heron

 

The Boy and the Heron, directed by Japanese master animator Hayao Miyazaki, is a Japanese animated fantasy film nominated for Best Animated Feature Film. Nominated for Best International Feature Film, Perfect Days film was a co-production between Japan and Germany, and combines four short stories, one of which features KōjiYakusho in the role of a toilet cleaner. The movie centres on themes like finding beauty in everyday moments, celebrating the power of human connection, and the passage of time. 

Anatomy of a Fall

 

This film is a 2023 French legal drama thriller, directed by Justine Triet, and nominated for Best Picture of the year. The film gained a lot of popularity for its portrayal of female resilience and the complexities of the legal system. The main focus of the story is the suspicious death of a man whose wife struggles to prove her innocence in the matter.
