Pharrell Williams Is Now The Co-Owner of G-Star

RAW for the Oceans , a collection that transformed waste plastic from the oceans in to denims, has announced (via Instagram) that Pharrell Williams will be the co- owner of  the brand G-Star RAW.

The musician and founder of street wear brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream, will now be collaborating with G-Star RAW. He will now be involved not only as the face but actually creating new product ideas, vision on sustainability and new business strategy. 

​G-Star and Pharrell Williams share an aesthetic that is raw, pure, innovative and identified by the continuous search for the unexpected.

On this, Pharrell said, "G-Star is an independently minded and forward thinking company. I believe they will be the definitive jeans brand of the 21st century. I am looking forward to be part of that mission and to co-create G-Star's future."
