The Golden Globes gift bags are worth $500,000 and they’re completely over the top

The 2024 Golden Globes went down on January 7, and on top of attendees going home with a casual gold statue...everyone also gets a gift bag. And not just any mere gift bag. This thing has a value of $500,000 and the items in it are best described as completely over the top. Like, we’re talking about a bag so fancy, it comes with its own GUIDE. Here, read the press release:

“Totaling half a million dollars, Robb Report’s Golden Globes gift bag offers an exquisite selection of products and exclusive experiences, thoughtfully curated across several categories. Presented as ‘The Ultimate Gift Box,’ inside recipients will find a Metier Marrakech Brown Suede Bag and ‘The Ultimate Gift Book,’ a comprehensive guide detailing the full list of gifts featured, which allows recipients to select what offerings they would like to accept.”

So, what’s on the list?

According to Entertainment Tonight, there are 35 options for guests (some of which are available to everyone, some of which are available to a select few), including but not limited to:

  • A two-night stay in France that’s available to all 83 recipients and is worth $2,200.
  • A five-day luxury yacht charter in Indonesia that’s also available to everyone and is worth $50,000.
  • A luxury stay at the Four Seasons Punta Mita worth $15,000, available to everyone.
  • An all-inclusive stay in New Zealand for two worth $15,000, available to just three recipients.

And honestly, that’s just the top of the list. There’s also a stay in Ireland available to everyone plus a $20,000 trip to the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, also available to everyone, a membership to a private social club, AND a membership to XO Jet with $10k in flight credits.

Oh, and on top of all the once-in-a-lifetime experiences, there’s an abundance of caviar, liquor, wine, and beauty treatments on the table.

Truly...“jealous” doesn’t even begin to cover the way I’m feeling.
