But if you're still finding yourself in need of a lil inspiration, look no further than Sydney Sweeney, who started the celebrations a whole three days early by hosting a super-girly Galentine's Day event with her nearest and dearest over the weekend. The Euphoria actress posted a carousel of pics on Instagram earlier today captioned "bows before bros" – and everything from the heart-shaped pizzas and princess cakes to her look for the occasion was utter perfection.

Whoever said Barbiecore was over clearly missed the memo! Sydney's outfit is the only proof we need that all pink everything is here to stay – but rather than Valentino hot pink, she opted for a more subtle, 2024 version of the shade...

The actress hosted her event in a pale, dusty pink mini-dress featuring a huge satin bow detail, paired with matching tights and cream-coloured patent platform heels. She even had co-ordinating pale pink nails that were decorated with love hearts and bow embellishments to fit the theme. Syd's whole look is giving ballerina Barbie with a hint of coquette, and we're absolutely loving it. V Day (or G Day...) outfit, sorted!
