Sydney Sweeney just wore the ultimate Y2K summer 'fit

Is it just us, or does it feel like we've been waiting for the release of Euphoria season three forever?! The hit show was renewed in Feb 2022 and *that* shocking final season two ep aired more than a year ago already... But rumours suggest we'll have to hang tight until at least 2025. Weep!

Aside from driving ourselves crazy imagining what might happen next for Rue, Nate, Fex, Lexi and the whole gang, there is one thing in particular that we've been missing since the show ended—and that's the fashion.

Life just hasn't been the same without our weekly fill of truly *insane* Y2K-style 'fits, from the micro-mini skirts, crop tops and cut-outs to all those epic house party lewks worn by the likes of Cassie and Maddy. Which is why we couldn't be happier to see that Sydney Sweeney has fully embraced her character's aesthetic and is dressing the part IRL too.

The former Cosmopolitan UK cover girl was recently spotted in NYC shooting a campaign for Bai water, wearing one of the most Cassie Howard-esque looks we've seen her in to date...

Can't you just imagine her sashaying through the corridors of East Highland High in this fab lil 'fit? Her pink-and-white baby tee, with "Bai Babe" emblazoned across it, is juuuuust cropped enough to show off her bellybutton—making the perfect pairing for Sweeney's *tiiiiiiiny* cargo-style pink mini, that's frankly more pockets than skirt.

It's just the right amount of preppy, sexy and nostalgic—and frankly, a lesson in how to do Y2K summer dressing right. Sweeney completed her look with some classic Nineties and Noughties accessories too: gold hoop earrings, Britney-style pink-lens sunnies, and some white kitten heel mules that are a proper throwback to our Tammy Girl days (although obvs, Sweeney are Miu Miu).

Sweeney's really been stepping up her schoolgirl-worthy looks recently, too. For her recent Today Show appearance, she wore what can only be described as a high-fashion twist on a school uniform—with cotton socks and tie included!
