Remember last week when Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez were tied for being the most followed people on Instagram at around 380 million each? Selena's follow count surpassed Kylie's on February 22, making her the most followed woman in the world—but Kylie now appears to be losing followers.
According to the Daily Mail, Kylie lost an estimated 1 million followers over the past week, dropping from 380 million to 379 million. Meanwhile, Selena's follower count is now sitting at 389 million, meaning she's gained almost 10 million followers in the same time span.
While this could be the result of fans flooding Selena's account to show support, Kylie's follower loss comes amid her name getting wrapped up in the recent/somewhat exhausting TikTok drama between Selena and Hailey Bieber.
Basically, Kylie—who is friends with Hailey—was accused of bullying Selena when she posted a photo of her eyebrow with the text "this was an accident???" If this explanation has left you in a state of abject confusion (understandable), Kylie's posts came shortly after Selena said she'd accidentally over-laminated her brows.
Anyway, Kylie actually hopped into the comments of the above TikTok to shut this narrative down, writing, "this is reaching. no shade towards Selena ever and I didn't see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly." And Selena responded directly to her comment, "Agreed @kyliejenner It's all unnecessary. I'm a fan of Kylie!"
So yeah, these two have no issues with one another! That's all, roll credits!
