Gigi Hadid's cut-out maxi top is winter knitwear with a sexy twist

Taylor Swift's birthday is, quite literally, the gift that keeps on giving. It's already been a full week since we celebrated the singer's 34th trip around the sun, which she marked by throwing an epic and suitably glitzy party at The Box nightclub in Manhattan, New York City. Naturally, her outfit for the occasion was nothing short of iconic: a sparkly black mini dress by Clio Peppiatt, featuring intricate silver embroidery of the moon and stars. And to top it off, she twinned with BFF Blake Lively who rocked a super sexy all-black look centred around a skintight leather midi dress complete with thigh-high slit.

Taylor even delighted her fans by sharing pictures on Instagram from inside the bash, where she was also joined by the likes of Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz and Keleigh Sperry. It's a sexy, fashion-forward twist on winter knitwear that we can't get enough of, featuring a grey ribbed top with a plunging neckline and cut-outs over the torso as well as a dramatic train. The design by Christopher John Rogers is an edgy top/cardigan/dress mix that looks *so* cool, particularly paired with the brand's metallic silk cargo trousers and pointy Jimmy Choo black heels. Mimi is nothing short of a fashion genius, ppl!
