Sara Ali Khan recently travelled to the
Leh-Ladakh region, a region administered by
India as a union territory, constituting a part
of the larger Kashmir region. Taking to social
media, the actor chronicled her serene and
peaceful journey, from visiting the
white-domed Shanti Stupa to enjoying
starry-lit nights.
The actor at the Thikse Monastery,
a gompa affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery is located
on top of a hill in Thiksey, approximately 19
kilometres east of Leh in Ladakh, India.
Sara at the Pangong Tso lake, an endorheic
lake spanning eastern Ladakh and
WestTibet, situated at an elevation of
4,225 m. It is 134 km long and divided into
five sub-lakes,called Pangong Tso, Tso Nyak,
Rum Tso (twin lakes), and Nyak Tso.
