This New Restaurant is the Ultimate Love Letter to Old School Delhi

If you're always reminiscing about the way Delhi used to be, used to look and used to feel way back when, the new Smokehouse Deli at Connaught Place is definitely going to fan that fire.

The beautiful new property is an homage to the Delhi of the yesteryears, and it's a tribute well done, because the gorgeous illustrations etched all over the walls are simply dripping nostalgia, in the nicest way possible. ​

The pretty restaurant, done up in classic teak with old-school booths is going to make you feel like you've walked into the city that your grandfather used to remember so vividly and descibe with such adage. The yellow, mood lighting makes it pretty perfect for anything from a romantic evening with the SO, to a comfortable family dinner with happy conversation.

Our recommendation? Grab a buddy, a date, or even your mum and and settle down with some old, Cosmo faves. Start with the Spiced Chicken Panko Strips and the Hash Brown with Jalapeno and Two Cheese Melt, work your way up to a Wild Mushroom and Artichoke Crepe Gratin, Sautee'd Tenderloin Stroganoff and Peri Peri Rubbed Grilled Chicken with Citrus Pimento (with an SHD Margherita pizza too, for good measure)​, and finish off that delightfully filling meal by ordering the dessert duo of a Philly & Plum Cheesecake and the Flourless Chocolate Fudge.
