Sangeets today are more than just pre-wedding celebrations; they are a fusion of tradition, innovation, and grandeur. Much like the timeless works of Van Gogh, these events have evolved into experiences that combine subtle elegance with modern technology, creating lasting memories. Holm Ingolf and Chitralekha’s sangeet, aptly named “Paris in a Palace,” was one such occasion—larger than life, poetic, and breathtakingly advanced in its execution.

Held within the courtyard of a majestic palace, the sangeet was executed by ace design house To The Aisle. Here, art and romance converged to create a magical Parisian night. The theme was inspired by Holm’s proposal to Chitralekha in Paris, designed to transport guests to the City of Love. The palace courtyard was envisioned as a grand Parisian museum, with cascading drapes from 200 feet above.

The decor was nothing short of a spectacle. One of the most mesmerising elements was the Eiffel Tower-inspired illumination, which covered the entire palace in a soft, twinkling glow that aptly mirrored the iconic Parisian landmark.

Projectors, meticulously placed across the courtyard, cast a mesmerising light that turned the palace into a dazzling reflection of Paris. The integration of 3D mapping technology executed by Chopra Designs enhanced the grandeur, seamlessly blending the digital with the physical to craft an immersive experience.

The evening began with a cinematic grand entry by the couple. Before their arrival, the 3D mapping was intentionally kept off, allowing the digitised dance floor to take centre stage. The floor, adorned with customised graphics, twinkled underfoot, creating an ethereal ambience. Waiters, moving gracefully with trays illuminated only by candlelight, added a layer of romance to the space.

“For Holm and Chitralekha, their story was very much about finding a home in each other,” said Prerika Puri, founder of To The Aisle. “This Sangeet was where they took their initial steps into that shared life. The design, decor, and sheer magnificence of the evening resonated so well with their journey. Every element, from the 3D mapping to the Eiffel Tower-inspired lighting, was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed.
