When you think of David Schwimmer, your mind probably hops to Ross stuck in leather pants in a bathroom or getting a ridiculous self-tan. But the funny star took on a heavy, not-funny role as Robert Kardashian (yup, that Kardashian) in American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson. Schwimmer gave a *chef's kiss* performance, fully transforming himself into O.J.’s late defence attorney and almost made fans forget all about Ross...for a while.

Once you get past the terrible name, you’ll see how tremendous Courteney Cox is as Jules Cobb on Cougar Town. A newly divorced single mom who is trying to date (often younger men, hence the title of the show). Jules is effortlessly relatable, and is a smidge like Monica, but with a lot more wine.

Anyway, while he’s certainly racked up a host more acting credits since his Friends stint, his most notable role has to be as the Marvel superhero Ant-Man, where he blends his comedic charm, with some impressive action moves.

Trying to remember who Cole Sprouse played on Friends? Duh, he played Ross’s adorable son Ben! There may be some Gen Z kids who would argue that his turn on Suite Life of Zack & Cody was his best gig, but he’s transformed himself so completely as Jughead Jones on Riverdale, that it really shows off how much he’s grown in the past two decades IMHO.
