Are you jet-setting off to some exotic locale for your summer vacation? Have you already over-packed a bunch of cute outfits, but are confused about what accessories to take along? Well, it turns out, vacation jewellery is a thing. An increasing number of Indian jewellery labels are introducing collections that embody the heady feeling of holidays—the playfulness, vibrancy, and casual-yet-chic vibes.
Be it letter pendants and colourful rings or beaded necklaces and resin hoops, there are plenty of options to pick from. Ahead, discover six labels that we can’t wait to don on our vacation.
Hannan
This Gurugram-based jewellery brand is known for incorporating pearls and resin hearts in their pieces, lending them a fun, flirty look that is perfect to don on vacation. Best known for its freshwater pearls and signature hearts in resin and ceramic, Hannan steers away from convention. In addition to an extensive collection of hoops, necklaces, studs, rings, and charms, they have a section for men’s jewellery, in case you want to get your partner or guy friends in on the fun!
Studio Love Letter
Studio Love Letter’s playful jewellery is inspired by the feeling of wanderlust and the joy of vacations. Started during the pandemic by Anmol Vaswani, its vibrant and nostalgic accessories have been spotted on the likes of Alia Bhatt, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Radhika Apte, and many other. We are big fans of its colourful beaded necklaces made using recycled plastic that give off major ’90s vacation vibes.
Azga
Founded by sister duo Nikita and Namita Bhandari, Azga's delicate pieces are inspired by traditional Indian jewellery but are crafted keeping a modern outlook in mind, Think charm bracelets, talisman necklaces and rings, handcrafted cufflinks, and more. Their Evil Eye Necklace in a rose gold finish and the cute Le Flore earrings Mira Kapoor's favourite.
Lunaya
Known for their letter pendants and colourful pebble rings, Lunaya is a fine and demi-jewellery brand based out of Jaipur. If you’re are a beginner in stacking accessories, check out the handy 'stack shop' section on their website where you can shop stacking sets that have already been styled by the label.
Angana Nanavaty
This eponymous home-grown brand is the brainchild of Angana Nanavaty, who was pursuing a career in media, before making the switch to jewellery designing. She sees jewellery as talismans, and her label is built on that belief. So, don’t be surprised to find collections inspired by mysticism and spirituality, like ‘Born Again’, which features stars as the overarching symbol, or ‘Incantation’, which has lucky symbols like the third eye, unicorn horn, waxing moon, and more. Our favourite, which also happens to be extremely beach-appropriate, is the ‘Sea & Me’ collection, which has rings, necklaces, and earrings with seashells on them.
Lune
The brainchild of Sreesha Shetty, Lune is known for its celestial-inspired demi-fine jewellery that blurs the line between traditional and contemporary. From crescent-shaped studs, opal earrings, and minimal body chains, to nose pins crafted in gold, silver, and bronze, take your pick. All their pieces are handcrafted by artisans at their factory in Goa. We love their Phases choker that depicts the moon in its different phases.
