Here’s everything you’re dying to know about the ‘Fabulous Lives v/s Bollywood Wives’

Doubling down on the sass, the scandal, and the sparkle, the ladies are back. From champagne fights to city supremacy, everything is on the table. And the tables keep turning.

Here’s everything you’re dying to know about the ‘Fabulous Lives v/s Bollywood Wives’

The hottest, newest season of The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, now rechristened to Fabulous Lives v/s Bollywood Wives, is all set to premiere tomorrow. Serving up more drama, laughs, and over-the-top glam, season 3 of the Netflix reality show promises to be more binge-worthy than ever with the addition of the Delhi girls—Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Kalyani Saha Chawla, and Shalini Passi—to the OG quartet of Bhavana Panday, Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari Soni, and Seema Sajdeh.

How welcome did the Delhi women feel in the ol’ Bombay gang? While the ladies were rather tight-lipped for fear of not giving away spoilers, the uncomfortable silence, awkward eye contact, and uneasy titters all around spoke volumes. So, we did some digging and got the tea, and here’s everything we learnt.

The biggest misconception about the show

If you thought some of the drama might be too good to be true, think again. One thing the entire cast agrees on is that the biggest misconception about the show is that it’s scripted. The fabulous ladies insist that the reason it takes a toll on all of them is that they’re putting their real lives out there. And we’re grateful for it.

Seema Sajdeh’s secret to staying cool? Urban Dictionary.

We’ve always wondered how Sajdeh is the most Gen-Z boomer ever, from how she speaks to the way she dresses. And now we know her secret—to keep up with her teenage boys, she admits she’s been brushing up on her slang on ‘Urban Dictionary’ and now, she’s finally got the hang of it. Besides, the very famous Orry (Orhan Awatramani) has been giving her lessons on internet virality, some of which include throwing Maheep Kapoor off a balcony.

Bhavana Panday’s patience is running thin this season

For the last two seasons, while Maheep Kapoor and Seema Sajdeh have been unfiltered and occasionally unhinged, Panday has had an air of Zen-like calm. Well, that’s set to change this season—we can expect her to be more vocal, more assertive, and not hold back. Needless to say, we can’t wait.

Maheep Kapoor’s “subtitles” are back and her friends get the worst of it

Turns out: Maheep Kapoor is trying to hold back with her sharp shade grenades. But try as she might, the entire cast agrees—her face has “subtitles”, and her expressions do all the talking. Besides, her valiant attempts to play nice are only reserved for people not very close to her—which means for the other Bollywood wives, nothing has changed this season.

The self-proclaimed “big bully”

Speaking of Maheep Kapoor, she will continue to embrace her “tough love” persona. The list of other cast members who have already got lectures from her this season includes Shalini Passi and, of course, Kapoor’s favourite, Seema Sajdeh.

For Neelam, reality is a different animal

So poised, prim and proper the last two seasons, Neelam Kapoor Soni confesses she’s much more comfortable this time around. Not least because of her close friendships with the other ladies. But she also admits she finds this show much harder to do than films because she’s putting her life and her family out there.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is really going to mess it all up

At least if her brother, actor Ranbir Kapoor, is to be believed. By her own admission, Kapoor-Sahni does not take rubbish from anyone, is fiery, and says exactly what she’s thinking. As Bhavana Panday famously put it, we, too, are “so looking forward to the fireworks.”

Kalyani Saha Chawla had to get a pep talk

The usually outspoken Saha Chawla was very “demure” on the first day of the shoot. Scandalised, struggling, and like a deer caught in headlights, she had to be on the receiving end of an hour-long pep talk from Panday to make her more comfortable. According to Saha Chawla, the other ladies, too, sent her long, encouraging messages, and it was only on day three that she felt like she could return to normalcy.

Shalini Passi lets it slide… 99 per cent of the time

While maintaining that she keeps her cool and lets a lot go, Passi insists that she’s more than her fashion, looking good, and going out all the time. But, of course, we’re here for that one per cent.

So, clearly, the tea is hot, the squad is back, and they are fiercer, more fabulous, and more unfiltered than ever.
