The movie, Angry Indian Goddesses, created a lot of buzz for its brutally honest representation of what it is like to be a woman in India! And when we recently caught up with Anushka Manchanda, part of the ensemble cast in the film, she got candid about what gets her goat. Here's what she said:
"I'm quite sick of... selfish attitudes. The selfishness of the human race is what gets on my nerves! We are so self-centered that we only care about our own existence. We have no respect for the planet we live on or for the other inhabitants of it. We litter, we are cruel to animals, we pollute our own environment, fight with each other, and we have the audacity to believe that we can control nature. We need to understand that unless we change our ways, things will not get better and if we don't do something about it soon, it'll be too late. We really need to stop being apathetic and insensitive!"
We agree with every word she'd said...do you?
