With their families having known each other for more than forty years, and the two being friends for long, it was a happy weekend for the Ambani household as their daughter Isha was proposed to, for marriage by Anand Piramal at Mahabaleshwar in the presence of their families. In a press statement on Sunday, Reliance Industries said the wedding is slated to be this December, incidentally around the same time when Isha’s twin brother Akash Ambani will also tie the knot with diamond heiress Shloka Mehta.

1. The 33-year old holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.

He had also founded Piramal Realty, Anand founded Piramal eSwasthya, a rural healthcare initiative that treats 40,000 patients a day.
