For the longest time, freckles were considered a 'flaw'; blemishes that needed to be concealed with full coverage makeup, if you will. But in recent years, those blessed with the sun-kissed look have been embraced, with others going as far as to pay to replicate them. One celeb faking it until she makes it (that is, freckles-wise) is Sydney Sweeney with her interpretation of the cosmetic trend.
In a recent Instagram post shared by Sydney's hairstylist, Glen Oropeza, the actor is shown to be sporting a minimal no makeup, makeup look complete with pin-straight, layered blonde locks. But windswept hair aside, it was the freckles that Sydney rocked that had us doing a double, no, triple take.
Prepare to be in awe of Syd's au naturel beauty, folks...
Stunning, right?
Taking the words right out of our mouths, one person took to the comments section to draw attention to Sydney's debut freckles. "Never seen her freckles before," they wrote, amassing over 100 likes from fellow followers.
However, responding in exchange to this statement, another fan wrote: "That’s because she doesn’t have real freckles." Blasé but I guess the more you know, ey!
I mean, it's no surprise many of us were taken back by her freckles because they really do look *so* realistic. Kudos to the makeup artist behind this glam, Melissa Hernandez, who, clearly, knows her stuff.
Now, Melissa, if you wouldn't mind sharing the technique and products used to achieve this very look, that would be very much appreciated.
