If there's one thingĀ Katy PerryĀ knows how to do wellāother than put on a blooming good performance, ofc (read: spinning bras, iconic tunes and 3D set designs)āit'sĀ stunt on a major red carpet. And today is no exception for she's only gone and stepped out wearing a star-studded fashion statement. Are we surprised? No, no we're not.
Just yesterday, theĀ American IdolĀ judge took to the reopening of The Landmark at Tiffany & Co 5th Avenue and chose to wear a vintage ivory-coloured Dior by John Galliano dress from the brand's 2006 autumn collection. It's very much givingĀ bridal-meets-mermaid coreĀ vibes.
The floor-length gown featured sheer straps, a sizeable train and top-to-bottom ruffles making for a dramatic statement. I mean, will I look this glamorous at my own wedding? Probs not...
TakeĀ in Perry's dress in all its ethereal beauty:
To accessorise, PerryĀ sported a range of Tiffany jewels, including a glistening silver necklace, diamond stud earrings and two emerald rings. As for her footwear, the singer opted to dress up herĀ lewkĀ further by adding a pair of matching strappy silver heels.
Later on in the evening, PerryĀ underwent an outfit switcheroo (as one does... cazsh), changing into a strapless Tiffany blue bodycon dress complete with a sheer tulle skirt. She then went onto perform an impromptu setlist, belting a select few of her very own bangers; 'Firework,' 'Dark Horse,' 'Teenage Dream,' and more were all included.
As PerryĀ onceĀ saidĀ sang herself, she is "a firework, a dancing flame". CueĀ allĀ the fire emojis.
