India's largest music festival, Lollapalooza India is back with its second edition, all set to engulf the city of Mumbai with its upbeat vibe. Lollapalooza India features a rich soundscape, presenting global talents that span continents and genres. The festival will host an iconic comeback of Sting, who first graced the Indian stage in 1980 with The Police. The Jonas Brothers bring their energy for an exclusive, Asia-only date on their ongoing global tour while OneRepublic and Lauv return to India to serenade their massive fan bases, and Halsey, who makes her grand debut as a Lollapalooza India headliner. K-Rock band The Rose will bring the wave of their global Lollapalooza popularity into India for pop stans who are buzzing for Eric Nam's India debut.

The festival truly caters to every music palate, from hip-hop with JPEGMAFIA to world music with Anoushka Shankar and Fatoumata Diawara. For dance enthusiasts, the festival introduces Meduza, Jungle and Malaa, each bringing a unique flavour to the dancefloor. For those yearning for that Y2K moment, Keane takes the stage bringing back anthemic piano-rock tunes that defined an era.

Lollapalooza India 2024 has searched and uncovered budding Indian indie gems from the four corners of the country, who will play alongside some of the best international talent, all under one roof. The eclectic mix of Blues from Meghan Murray, Komorebi aka Tarana Marwah’s thought-provoking singles, Dewdrops—the rocksteady reggae band from the heart of Meghalaya, Stalvart John’s pulsating mixes from jazz-infused house and disco, Delhi’s Sublime Sound digs deep into the surface of club sounds, and traditional dance floor soundscapes driven by styles like breakbeat and techno. Shashwat Bulusu from Baroda will release an array of musical narratives in both Hindi and English, leaving no stone unturned in bringing you the best from the sonic realm. 

A visual extravaganza awaits

A two-day musical extravaganza featuring four stages, over 40 acts with more than 20 hours of unforgettable live music, innovative culinary selections, art installations, fashion, and so much more. There’s simply no reason for you to miss out on some of the most attractive installations. There’s the Lolla Ferris Wheel by Budweiser that sees you get the best seats in the house with a 360-degree view of the entire festival and its vibe. Add to that, one is sitting to witness a 14-foot-tall visual masterpiece—the ‘Music Mandala’ by BookASmile, the charity initiative of BookMyShow, which is promoting music by democratising it, making it accessible to all.

There are also a host of fun games such as Cat Rack, Hoop Shot, Buzzwire, Dino Squad, Basketball, Lobster Pot, and Ring Toss that add more fun and frolic to the festival. 

Out-of-the-box activities

You’re in for a treat if you’re into fashion as Levi’s® is all set to host its infamous one-of-a-kind pop-up ‘Tailorshop’ for all festivalgoers to personalise their favourite Levi’s® outfit with a range of customisation services including panelling, screen printing, and heat-press stickers. CRED is going to be setting up its unique ‘The Claw’ machine consisting of interesting surprises to pick from. The Lolla Food Park is a gastronomic paradise with over 50 handpicked F&B brands across diverse categories, standing as the largest Food Park ever created for any live music event in the country. Festivalgoers can embark on a culinary journey through curated lanes like "Mumbai Local”, celebrating local flavours and "Taste The World," exploring international cuisines. The "Foodie Fiesta" lane satisfies sweet and savoury cravings, while "Lolla On Wheels" brings the fun of food carts and trucks across the venue.

For a more exclusive experience, the "VIP Grub Street" caters to guests in lounges, featuring some of Mumbai’s most premium F&B brands. The Lolla Food Park is a celebration of diverse tastes, adding another layer to the multifaceted experience of Lollapalooza India.
