A restaurant that pays homage to the rich culinary heritage of India, Ziya at The Oberoi, in Gurgaon heralds you on a flavorful journey from Kashmir to Kerala. Curated by Michelin-starred Chef Vineet Bhatia, MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire), this new restaurant is all set to be the next hotspot for gourmands as it promises a superlative dining experience, with a modern twist. ‘Ziya’ meaning splendour and shine, perfectly resonates with the restaurant’s dedication to gastronomical excellence.

Chef Vineet Bhatia

Chef Vineet Bhatia, who is the first chef of Indian origin to receive a Michelin star for Indian cuisine, has a remarkable relationship with The Oberoi, mentoring the teams at Ziya at The Oberoi, Mumbai, and Dhilli at The Oberoi, New Delhi. With the increasing demand for a contemporary take on Indian flavours, chef Bhatia envisioned Ziya to redefine that space. “Ziya at The Oberoi, Gurgaon, is a celebration of India’s diverse culinary landscape, reimagined with modern techniques and contemporary flair. We aim to offer our guests an unforgettable dining experience that pays homage to tradition while embracing innovation,” chef Bhatia elaborates.

The à la carte menu includes plate pleasers, main courses, heritage bowls, and desserts. While each dish is meticulously curated, its ingredients are of the highest quality—seasonal, locally sourced, emphasise sustainability, and organic. Some of the signature dishes curated by chef Bhatia include: Aloo Toffee, Pan-Grilled Sambhar Fish, Ghee Roast Lamb, and delectable desserts like Kulfi Falooda Cheesecake or The Ziya Hug.

Additionally, you can let your hair down at Ziya, as you sip on their refreshing and indigenous cocktails, such as the Paan Royale, Swarnam Sour, and Royal Botanica.
