Over the past few years, you must have come across a gazillion memes—some of which are etched so deeply into your mind that it'd probably be impossible for you to forget them. 1) Success Kid - Sam Griner

It's been 14 years since this meme, and it still doesn't get old. It was initially termed as the 'I Hate Sandcastles' meme, but soon gained popularity as the 'success kid' meme. 

 

2) Disaster Girl - Zoe Roth

This creepy photography was captured by Zoe Roth's father—Dave Roth—in the year 2004. Young Zoe Roth was observing firefighters control the blaze two blocks away from their house in North Carolina. Dave apparently entered this photo into a competition and won! The rest is history.

 

3) Side-Eyeing Chloe - Chloe

The side-eyeing Chloe meme went viral in 2013 after YouTuber KAftC posted a video titled 'Lily's Disneyland Surprise… AGAIN', where Chloe was reacting to the news of a surprise trip to Disneyland on her way to school.

 

4) Roll Safe - Kayode Ewumi 

Kayode Ewumi was part of a mini-documentary series called 'Hood Documentary', when he made this funny expression in 2016. Well, it apparently stuck. 

 

5) Bad Luck Brian - Kyle Craven

Ian Davies uploaded a yearbook photo of his friend Kyle Craven to Reddit with the caption, 'Takes driving test .?.?. gets first DUI'. Ever since, the photo created a storm on the internet, being termed 'bad luck Brian', in reference to unfortunate, embarrassing events that may take place.

The 2014 picture went viral after a Reddit user submitted it to the /r/funny subreddit and titled it, 'Trying to hold a fart next to a cute girl in class'.
