Italy is Planning to Offer Paid Menstrual Leave to Women

You have got to hand it to the Italians. They have the best food, wine and they sure know how to take care of their women!

Italy , may soon become the first country in Europe to offer paid menstrual leave to their female employees. They are debating a new bill which, if approved, will offer three days paid leave to a woman on her period.

Women, who are already taking days off due to menstrual pains, would now be allowed to do so without using sick leave and other such permits.

Italy, which already had a wonderful maternity leave policy is taking steps to get this bill proposed by female MPs approved in a couple of months.
