Watch this space
Longines—one of the world’s leading luxury watch manufacturers, not to mention home to the 1954 Conquest collection—is expanding its range of timepieces to celebrate the collection’s 70th anniversary. A campaign called ‘A Life in a Day’ featuring global brand ambassadors Zhao Liying, Suzy, and Barbara Palvin has been released to mark the launch of new Conquest watches. It follows the three women in Shanghai, Seoul, and Budapest as they go on about their days—pushing the idea that these luxury watches can be worn throughout the day and not just on special occasions. The range introduces three new models that echo the same simple and understated elegance of the original 1954 collection. It’s something you will not be able to resist checking out!
Cool for the summer
Let’s talk about another watch launch just for equal measure, shall we? The Swiss watch manufacturer Swatch has launched a new collection of bold, transparent, and vibrant watches called ‘COLORS OF JOY’. It includes six huge (47mm case, to be exact) models that scream summer and are guaranteed to make heads turn. Each watch in the collection reflects Swatch’s commitment to creativity and innovation. They are versatile and can be worn for a day at the beach or a night at the club. Oh, and did we mention that it’s water-resistant?
Streetwear x Olympics
Remember the streetwear brand which was all over the internet back in 2016-17? Every single celebrity on the face of earth was seen sporting them. The brand which probably has more knockoffs than the Marc Jacobs tote. Ring a bell? So, the Los Angeles-based Anti Social Social Club (ASSC) has launched its Summer 2024 collection called 1 See Right Through You', with a special capsule to celebrate the 2024 Paris Olympics. It features ASSC screen-printed vintage and original Olympic merchandise. The collection also includes limited edition upcycled tees, hats, and a leather jacket. Cop them, stat!
Brand new faces
Is there something in the air? Because three luxury brands just rolled out their new ambassadors, and it is shaking up the scene! Lisa Manobal—who has had a long-standing relationship with LVMH (brand ambassador of Celine since 2020)—has been named the newest face of Louis Vuitton. Dior isn’t slowing down either—racing ahead with Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton. And Swarovski? They’ve just added some serious sparkle with American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande. What a time to be alive!

Still looking for motivation to book that Pilates class you promised you’d join at the beginning of the year? We’ve found one for you—Celine’s new Pilates collection, which was launched by Hedi Slimane’s brand recently. Apart from activewear, sports bras, cycling shorts, crop tops, and leggings, the collection also includes Yoga mats, weights, dumbbells, and kettlebells, etc. The face of the collection is Celine’s muse and American model Kaia Gerber—if this doesn’t get you off the couch and on that trapeze table, we don’t know what will.
