Priyanka Chopra's Mother Made an Interesting Revelation About Her Next Project

In a short span of time, Priyanka made her name in the West and changed the way people perceived Bollywood forever. After her singing stint, acting in a TV show, bagging a role in Baywatch(which was rocking, of course!) and juggling her work and family life in India, Priyanka has decided to produce her first Hollywood film.

In an interaction with Mid-Day Priyanka's mother revealed, "When Priyanka set up her own banner, the idea was to provide privilege to those who don't have the edge. We have three vernacular productions releasing this year. Though Priyanka Chopra would have wanted to produce a Bollywood film first, she would kick-start her Hollywood production by the end of the year."

Her mother said that the story of the film will probably revolve around racism. Madhu Chopra further disclosed the idea behind choosing to work on such a story. She said,"Right now, their political climate is such that there is more scope for such stories(about racism). It's the right time to take the plunge,"

The worried mother also added," I sometimes wonder when she sleeps. When I go to sleep, she is working, when I am working, she is still working. She keeps tabs on the India office and regularly takes updates on each production."

When inquired if any script has been selected yet, Mrs. Chopra said,"Priyanka has shortlisted a few stories. Her work process is thorough. She works and reworks the drafts till she is fully satisfied. She has recommended a few plot changes,"

Being a producer requires one to be creative and have a sense of business. Priyanka's mom showed confidence in her and said," She is sharp with business. The budget has to be under control and the story has to credible. I trust Priyanka to make the right decisions."
