1. Deepika Padukone
She rose to the position of a 'superstar' with her debut Bollywood film, Om Shanti Om in 2007, when she starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan, and won over everyone with her character, Shantipriya. The movie fetched DP her first award in Bollywood, a Filmfare for Best Female Debut. She also won the Zee Cine Awards 2008 Most Promising Debut Female. Here's a snippet from the same!

3. Kajol
A cult romantic flick even today, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, starring SRK and Kajol is loved by people across generations. A brimming pool of talent, Kajol received her first award in the industry for this film, the Filmfare Best Actress Award.
4. Ameesha Patel
Even though she wasn't the original choice for the female lead of the film, Ameesha Patel was loved immensely for her role in Kaho Na...Pyaar Hai.The film entered the Guinness Book of World Records for bagging 92 awards, and Ameesha won her career's first award, the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut, which was presented by Priyanka Chopra (looking unrecognisable AF!) and Esha Deol. This is the same ceremony that witnessed Kareena Kapoor accepting her Face of The Year award, in a supremely disappointed manner, since she lost the Best Debut award to Ameesha!

She happened to stumble in to acting by chance, but who would have thought that for a supporting role in her debut film Ladies V/S Ricky Bahl, Parineeti would go on to win a number of awards and garner such critical acclaim! Not only did she bag the Filmfare award for Best Female Debut, but also received the same at other ceremonies, including Screen Awards, IIFA Awards, Producers Guild Film Awards, and Zee Cine Awards. At the 56th Filmfare Awards, Ranveer Singh won his first Bollywood award, Best Male Debut for Band Baja Baraat. With his contagious energy, and unbelievable method acting that raises the bar with every film, Ranveer has certainly risen to the top at lightening speed.
