"Not many people have been invited, as it is a really small function. Just close ones are invited; Virat's childhood friends and few of our family members. From cricket fraternity, only Sachin and Yuvraj will be seen, if they make it to the wedding. And of course, Virat's coach Rajkumar Sharma who once taught him. There were others too, but they can't make it for the day," a source close to Kohli was quoted as saying previously.

If you were able to take your eyes off the dazzling duo, and take a look at the picturesque wedding location, you'll know what we're talking about. Located in Tuscany, the two got married in a luxury village-restored-resort called Borgo Finocchieto.

Here are some interesting details about this breathtaking wonder.

1. The Borgo is an 800-year-old restored villa with unparalleled views of historical sites and tranquil valleys. It has been restored by John Phillips, who also happens to be the owner.

2. Staying true to Punjabi roots, the wedding was a small, intimate gathering of family members and close friends. And yes, bhangra dancers were spotted at the venue, along with dhol sounds being heard. Interestingly, at a given time, only 44 people can occupy the entire space! Hello privacy.

3. Siena and Florence which are hot tourist faves, are quite close to the Borgo which makes it easily accessible. But the architecture and vintage vibes of the property make it seem exclusive and remind of medieval Italy. The five villas—Finocchieto, Colussi, Filippi, Santa Teresa and Fede—are all uniquely designed.

4. According to a report in Forbes, the wedding location is the 2nd most expensive holiday rental property during the holiday season of Christmas and New Year. A night's charge spells out to Rs. 13,54,744, which means Rs 94,83,210 in entirety per week! We don't know if you're seeing love or money in your eyes RN.

5. Situated amidst the scenic locales of Tuscany, the Borgo is an hour's drive from Florence's airport. The luxurious resort has a 60-ft oval swimming pool, gym, spa, and a tennis court besides 22 bedrooms and suites.

6. The Borgo was rumoured to be decorated for the Wedding of the year with full swing. A high-security corridor was put up around the resort, and entry was strictly invite-only.

7. Your inner foodie won't go dissatisfied, if you're thinking this place is just about spectacular views. Dinner is served in three courses and includes traditional Tuscan specialities with a modern twist. Wine-enthusiasts are perfectly situated to experience the best of Italian wine—with Chianti Classico to the north, Montalcino to the southwest, and Montpulciano to the southeast.
