#What is Bechdel test?

Bachdel test is also known as gender test. The purpose of this test is to determine gender bias in movies. It is used to identify whether any movie or media is doing a fair and proper gender representation. Developed in 1985 by Alison Bechdel, this test is a benchmark for movies.

However, failing the test in no way implies that the movie is bad or against women. But, the fact that so many popular movies were unable to fulfill 3 simple criteria is appalling.

#How to clear the Bechdel test?

According to Wikipedia, a movie has to fulfill the following 3 conditions to clear the test:

1. The movie has to have at least two women in it (their characters should have a name),
