Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's column gown is giving us major 50s vibes

Whether it’s a fashion or couture event or even a coffee run, Sonam Kapoor will be sure to turn up in style! Post-pandemic, Kapoor’s outfit game has remained strong (unlike many of us, who instantly switched to loungewear!) with some layering extravaganzas, longer silhouettes and her much-loved sleek bun.

Recently, Sonam Kapoor attended the launch of author Amish Tripathi’s latest book, War of Lanka, in the UK. She posted a picture of her outfit on her IG and we had to keep our coffee down to just soak in all the glamour she exuded in one single post! 

Styled by Nikhil Mansata, Kapoor wore a shimmery off-the-shoulder column gown by Emilia Wickstead, made from tweed (who knew you could turn tweed into an evening gown!) and metallic thread. Kapoor has worn Emilia Wickstead a few times before (remember the pink gown she wore at her baby shower?) and she seems to keep giving us occasionwear inspo! 

Kapoor added a blue satin wristlet by The Row and a pair of monochrome pumps by Manolo Blahnik to the look, taking it up a notch! 

For the launch event, HMU Artist Maria Asadi gave her smokey eyes paired with a subtle nude lip (a look Kapoor carries way too well!)

Bringing in the fun in functional fashion, new mom Kapoor juggles between her homes in London and Mumbai. Kapoor often shares glimpses of her life in both the cities and otherwise, and her ‘gram is brimming with countless outfit inspos and we are here for it!
