Sidharth Malhotra to Ranbir Kapoor, Take a Virtual Tour of Luxurious Celebrity Homes Designed by Gauri Khan

Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, producer and interior designer knows how to weave magic when it comes to doing up a space. No wonder her list of clients include A-list actors, filmmakers, designers and business tycoons. Gauri is known to blend in opulent designs, modern comforts, amenities and global sensibilities to create a distinctive and individualistic space. We have put together some of the most luxurious spaces that she has created for celebrities, take a look.

 

Ranbir Kapoor

The actor lives in an apartment in Bandra’s Vastu Pali Hill that he reportedly bought for Rs 35 crore. The interiors of his lush bachelor pad has been done by Gauri Khan, the latter’s website has images of this house and a testimonial from Ranbir, who mentions that his first home has just been made to cater to his personal taste. According to several reports, the huge house also includes a personal theatre system and has been designed keeping in mind his two dogs, who have enough space to move about.

Sidharth Malhotra 

The Shershaah actor’s swanky bachelor pad is located in Mumbai’s Pali Hill too. Gauri has designed this space with a lot of modern elements like chevron flooring, wooden accents, personalised framed photographs, quirky lights and wall papers. She has used different colours like mauve, beige and muted yellow to add depth to the interiors.

Manish Malhotra

Gauri recently took to Instagram to share photos of the work space that she has designed for designer Manish Malhotra. She gave us a sneak peek into different parts of Manish’s space. One of the brightly-lit rooms featured a display closet, where few of the ensembles designed by Manish can be seen hanging in it. Another room has a wall framed with a Bollywood montage and a display floor to ceiling cabinet containing showpieces. Another room replete with grey sofa, a statement carpet and framed sketches in different sizes looked like a place where Manish would spend his time creating his designs. Sharing the pictures, Gauri wrote, "Two creative heads on one fun project..#design studio #library # work from home..sneak peak. #gaurikhandesigns @manishmalhotra05 (sic)".

Alia Bhatt’s Bandra Home 

According to Hindustan Times, the interiors of Alia Bhatt’s newest home that she bought in 2020 in the same society as beau Ranbir Kapoor for 32 crores is being designed by Gauri Khan. We hope the 2,460 sqft apartment will be as swanky with millennial aesthetics as her plush vanity van designed by Gauri.

Karan Johar 

Karan, one of Gauri’s closet friends has got parts of his his 8,000 sqft duplex on Carter Road designed by her. The expansive rooftop with ambient lighting, a structural bar and interesting seating. She has also designed the nursery for his kids Roohi and Yash. The white nursery displays European, fuss-free and clean aesthetics.

Jacqueline Fernandez’s bedroom

The actor’s bedroom with strong Parisian vibes has been designed by Gauri. The latter has paid attention to minute details like the floral bed table, floral bolsters, cushions, the book rack and the ladder that acts as a magazine holder and the beige ceiling lamp. Jacqueline has described this corner as her favourite reading nook.   

Shah Rukh Khan’s Delhi Mansion 

The Khan home situated in Panchsheel Park in South Delhi, features opulent interiors replete with spiral staircases, chandeliers, French windows, vintage furniture and plush upholstery has been done up by Gauri. She adds a personal touch to the space by including personal keepsakes of the family in the decor.
