Selena Gomez just wore one of the biggest hair bows we’ve ever seen

As a girl who never went to school without a ribbon in her hair, I am wholeheartedly loving the bow trend. Hair ribbons have been making a steady mark this year whether they be soft elegant silky ones, large draped velvet, or teeny tiny cute ones. So naturally this would all bubble up for the festive season, when a hair bow never goes a miss. They are well and truly everywhere; just re-use one you found under the Christmas tree, no one needs to know...

And Selena Gomez just wore one of the biggest we've seen all year. The large, sheer crimson bow is twice the size of her head and yet it's still so elegant.

Gracing the cover of Vogue Mexico, Selena has her dark hair pulled back into what looks to be a simple, soft bun, with subtle nude makeup brought to life by a sharp red lip and the stunning red organza bow. Holding its shape in the folds, it then flows down her back like a veil and it's just breathtaking.

The snap was shared by one of our favourite nail artists Tom Bachik, who also revealed Selena was wearing the iconic sheer pink Essie Ballet Shoes polish, most famous for being the late Queen's nail polish of choice.
