Our favourite celebs have been largely split into two camps when it comes to their relationship with bras lately. On one side, we have the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Sydney Sweeney who proudly rocked peekaboo bra dresses during the Cannes Film Festival, as well as Irina Shayk, Ashley Graham and Rita Ora who have wholeheartedly embraced the underwear as outerwear trend with their recent looks.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, there are those celebs who have made a habit of ditching their bras altogether. The ultimate dedication to 'naked dressing' or a feminist statement? We can't quite decide... But either way, the undisputed leader of the bra-less camp has to be Megan Fox, who in the past few months has rocked the trend more times than we can even count (and we're still thinking about how insane she looked in *that* see-through plunging dress).
And the 37-year-old actor has only just gone and done it again, albeit with a sliiiiightly less dramatic look this time around...
Stepping out in London to celebrate her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly's new jewellery line, Fox stunned in an 'underwear as outerwear' inspired lewk with a casual twist. I mean, the decision to pair platform heels, black trousers and a diamanté harness with a super-chilled tiny white tank top and no bra? Total genius, if you ask us.
Fox's look is an absolute masterclass in high-low dressing, that says "sexy" without trying too hard. And really, isn't that what we're all aiming for? The trick is in the details, TBH: the sparkly, underwear-inspired harness over the trousers, the sky-high heels, the blood-red nails, the subtle hint of nip... Even better, it's a formula that's super easy to copy, too. That's our next Saturday night 'fit sorted, then!
Fox's epic lewk is also further proof that the humble tank top is one of *the* hottest fashion items of the season. Whether longline or cropped, plain or patterned, brightly coloured or monochrome, logo-embroidered or not, tank tops have been spotted on all manner of celebs and street stylers recently—and styled in infinite ways, thanks to their innate versatility. Let's just say, as summer comes around, we'll be taking a leaf out of Meg's book and rocking ours sans bra too.
