Jeanna de Waal played Diana in the Broadway musical about the princess’ life, which was filmed for Netflix. Diana: The Musical premiered in 2021 just weeks before the same show debuted on Broadway.

Kristen Stewart played Princess Diana in the recently released Spencer, which follows Diana during one weekend just before she decides to leave her marriage with Prince Charles.
Emma Corrin played a young Princess Diana in the fourth season of Netflix’s The Crown. Since the series switches up actors to show passage of time, Emma was replaced with Elizabeth Debicki in Season 5.
Genevieve O’Reilly played the people’s princess in a docudrama that TLC aired in 2007. The format mixed real interviews of Diana with dramatic re-enactments of days leading up to the tragic car crash.
Bonnie Soper played Princess Diana in two films: Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance and Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal. Both the films were premiered on cable channel Lifetime in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Though the actors who played Harry and Meghan changed between films, Bonnie remained constant as Princess Diana in flashback scenes in both films.
