When it comes to skincare, sometimes, less is more and actor Mugdha Godse endorses that ideology to a tee. The former model and beauty pageant semi-finalist, Mugdha shares her beauty mantra is all about keeping her skin squeaky clean.

"I try to keep my skin clean all the time. I swear by the simple skin rules of cleansing, toning and moisturising whether it is before sleeping, applying make up or even after a shower!," she says. So, here are her Holy Grail products:

Cleansing

"I prefer doing a double-cleanse while removing heavy make up, usually beginning with a M.A.C makeup wipes. For mild make up, I just go in directly with my Himalaya face wash."

Toning

"Then comes the toner. I use rose water from Kama as a toner. It is gentle and gives great hydration especially if you have combination skin."

Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water

Moisturising

"The cleansing and toning remains the same for day and night. But, for day I prefer using the L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream and the Divine Cream Mask as night cream. I also like the brand's Immortelle Divine Youth Oil and it works wonders when used before make up."

"I also love using body butters by Nivea or Vaseline for my whole body and the L'Occitane body butter works the best for heavy winters."

DIY Hacks

"I also have some tried and trusted DIY beauty hacks that work really well for my skin as well as hair. An instant pep-me-up for tired and dull skin is the home made turmeric and chandan powder face pack. If you just leave it on for 5 mins, it instantly smoothens the skin. I also use a natural exfoliant by mixing salt and rava and using it as a scrub once a week. A weekly application of curd or malai on my scalp helps it from not drying in winters."
