Ace your beauty game with these new fall/winter trends

The beauty world is constantly evolving with new trends surfacing every now and then. Lately, hot red lips and flawless, glass-like skin have been making waves on runways around the world, but there's more. Here's a rundown of the latest beauty trends that will add excitement to your routine and keep you ahead of the curve.

Go red, no regret

 

Matte, glossy, tinted...it doesn’t matter what the texture is. The only thing that matters is that you paint your lips red. This season, the runways were replete with hot red pouts—from Ferrari to Carolina Herrera, and Molly Goddard to Richard Quinn. Honestly, I don’t think anyone’s complaining.

 

Cat eyes, but softer

 

Yes, we love the Amy Winehouse cat eye too—who doesn’t want a sharp look courtesy the late songstress? But stans (including us) will need to sit back and try something more subtle. The runways (hello, Christian Cowan and Max Mara) have shown us that it’s possible.

 

All bare, don't care

 

Yes, glass skin ruled at Fashion Week (Erdem, Fendi, et al.). However, another trend that the fashion girlies at Coach, Bally, Burberry, etc., have approved while strutting down the runway is barely-there make-up— just a pat of fresh base and we’re sorted for our next season.

 

It's smoking!

Nothing says grungy like smokey eyes. We know that the trend was a rage back in summer, and this time around it has moved onto the fall runways (Helmut Lang, Alice + Olivia, Altuzarra, and more) as well. Mercury retrograde or not, this is the look to don.
