9-Year-Old Girl Completes Insanely Hard Race, Becomes Hero in Fight Against Bullying

You may want to press pause on your Netflix marathon and put down your package of Peeps because you're about to be schooled in the ways of health by a preteen.

CBS Miami reports on Milla Bizzotto, a nine-year-old Miami girl who is so freaking fit that she completed a 24-hour U.S Navy obstacle race meant for very fit adults. Not only that, she's using her platform to inspire her generation to love their bodies and to be as active as they can be.

This past Friday, Milla was the the youngest competitor to complete the 24-hour Bullfrog challenge, which is an obstacle race designed by U.S. Navy Seals and includes running 36 miles, swimming an eight kilometer course and 25 obstacles, for six laps. Dang.

Milla, who was bullied in school, says she decided to run the race with her dad to encourage her peers to be kinder to each other and to get active.

"I think the bullying thing has died down without her having to take physical action just because her outlook is so much different now that she knows how to defend herself," her father/coach Christian said.
