Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone has been named the 'Sexiest Asian Woman' in the world for the year 2016. DP won the title for the first time, beating four times title winner, Priyanka Chopra.

The list is published each year by the UK-based newspaper Eastern Eye. The results are based on an annual poll where millions of readers from across the globe give their vote.

This year, PeeCee took the second spot while Katrina Kaif was ranked seventh on the list. Also, Sonam Kapoor was eighth and Pakistani actor Mahira Khan took the ninth spot.
